The Endless Note

2010 Top 30 New and Old #22

One of the joys of 2010 was the release of Edwyn Collins’ first album of new material since the stroke he suffered in 2005 (2007’s Home Again comprised songs written, if not recorded, beforehand) although he did have support from the likes of Franz Ferdinand, The Drums, Johnny Marr and The Cribs, all of whom owe him and seminal janglers Orange Juice a major debt.

This though is my favourite track.

Although I have already covered Maggie Bell in this year end review i could not miss out the great Stone The Crows so here for your enjoyment is one of the best songs they recorded.
