The Endless Note

2010 Top 30 New and Old #28

January 2010 finally saw the release of Corinne Bailey Rae’s long awaited second album “The Sea” it was a release steeped in her emotions that followed the death of her husband and co-musician Jason Rae.

I could post many a track from this album, however, the emotion in her compositions is perhaps best illustrated by this performance on Later…With Jools.

Here however is a bonus, her version of Bob Marley’s “Is This Love”

The Runaways weren’t really a rediscovery this year as they regularly feature in my musical listenings, however, as a promotion of their movie bio I posted on them for the first time on this blog and to be honest I have been knocked over with the hits to this post which at the time of this blog (28/11/2010) number 57,184.

Rather than post a track here they are in their full glory.

Finally here is the trailer for the hollywood movie
