As Gary Ralston of the Daily Records refers to him “the friendly big mutt called Blue” sustained an injury today at Strathclyde Homes Stadium which will prevent him from travelling on Saturday to Peterhead.
Treatment from the Club Physio was ruled out as Blue needs to be back at work on Monday, thus following a visit to the vet he has been instructed to rest up.
The cause of the injury will be investigated by the Club Safety Officer and a brief report restricted to 250 pages will be available in February.
In the meantime it is strongly denied that the blood stains in the foyer and dressing room are from anywhere else other than Blue’s paw!!
As is appropriate here is Bob Dylan with “Tangled Up In Blue” from the album “Blood On The Tracks”

Tangled up in blue is a song about the 1971 Joni Mitchell album allegedly.
I take it the janitor is going to Peterheid?

Correct, Dylan told Ron Rosenbaum that he wrote it after “spending a weekend” immersed in the aforesaid “Blue” album.
As for Perterhead, yes the “Janny” will be there unless I catch the currently contagious “Peterheiditis”
