Fiona Friday – Let It Be Me

Perhaps best know via the hit version by The Everly Brothers the song “Let It Be Me” was a favourite of both Fiona and I.

It has some special memories as Ray Wilson nailed it with a great version at our friends Andrew and Vivienne’s wedding ceremony.

Whilst Fiona always went with the Everley’s version my own favourite was the 1964 release by Jerry Butler and Betty Everett
