‘Steeltown’ -both the song and the album- capture something of an essence reflecting both the zeitgeist and Stuart the incredibly intelligent and intuitive individual’s inner vision. ‘Your spirit in to me’ (sorry if I got it wrong) as well as ‘Fragile thing’ are gems too; in the video of the latter one can spot same indefinite sadness in his eyes

Just received the Ain’t No Sunshine The Best of Bill Withers from Amazon.com. Some of the music has taken me back to my early 20′s and I am hearing other songs for the first time. I love his poetry and his voice. I’m 61 years old now and I Can’t Write With My Left Hand reminds me of the young men who came home from Nam all messed up. Thank you Bill Withers. Hi,

Unfortunately it was burned down, despite attempts to look at a rebuild Akram eventually bought the Boulevard Hotel on the A82 between Clydebank and Dumbarton and as far as I am aware still operators from there.

hi was wondering if you had any more information on akrams nightclub in dumbarton .I was in the navy based at faslane and used to work there every weekend as dj until I left to go london >I can recal working with other djs there mainly mike costas .The last time I was up in scotland i ventured there and found it no longer there .Any help would be appreacated .graham (joe in those days ) .
