Helpless Dancer

The Endless Note

Elvis Presley

Elvis would have been 75 today, however, his death has probably increased his popularity over time and the marketing people are never short of cashing in on any opportunity to repackage and sell (rip off) his devoted fan base as this “new” best of collection proves.

On checking I have 61 Elvis songs on my iPod, more than I would have thought though this is the only complete album.

The sleeve influenced The Clash’s “London Calling” and the music…..well that influenced just about everyone.

“I Want You, I Need You, I Love You” – Elvis Presley

This album was released in 1958, ten years later after a series of average movies and national service he made the best comeback ever courtesy of this television special.

Poor dead brilliant.
